We had a fantastic few days, made lots of new friends, drank and ate far too much and are keeping our diaries empty in case we get invited to any more :-)
A massive thanks to Manmeet and Bik for inviting us (despite having never met us before) and to Manmeets family for their hospitality and warmth (language barriers are easily overcome with an Indian smile and some bollywood dancing!).
Girls dressed up for the Jago - a party which happens a day or two before the wedding for the bride and her family.
During the Jago all the girls danced carrying a pot (gaggar) decorated with lightened candles and singing jago songs

ReplyDeleteWe're having a fantastic time out here, although your wedding is still our top highlight! We have a few good photos (some not shown above) from your wedding so if you would like us to share them with you let me know.
Its now getting a bit hot out here (around 44 today), so Aircon has become our new best friend. Were heading back to the UK ext week and are worried we are going to freeze!
