I haven’t posted anything for a while as I’ve been training
to become English Teacher; and I’ve just completed a CELTA course. It’s been
four of the most intensive weeks of my life, but well worth it! Regular 16 hour
days, assignments, teaching practices and a horrible cold half way through
pushed me to my limits but I emerged with a Pass B so I’m very happy. I’m now
looking for a job so if anyone hears of anything in the Delhi area ;-)
Here are a few snaps from the last few weeks. Also if anyone
is on Facebook you’ll see the countless photos taken at the final day
celebrations. I’ve never posed in quite so many photos, or danced mentally at 2
o’clock in the afternoon without the influence of alcohol. Great fun and very
funny!
Some of the students from my class - Bonita, Nand, Kushal, Karuna and Abishek.
Cafe Coffee Day around the corner from the British Council does a fantastic brownie. It goes well with a nice cup of earl grey (and a candle underneath?!?!). A regular lunchtime stress breaker.
My shoeshine guy - 10 rs (thats about 13p) for a polish. I love the way he lays out his equipment and takes real pride in his job - he's very good at it too!
The final party - lots of dancing, picture taking (you'll see around 4 cameras in this photo alone), food and fun - all without a drop of alcohol. Very refreshing...
Having said that were off to a German brewery tonight to celebrate - they serve beer in litre glass boots. Also very refreshing ;-)

Awersome dude, congrats. Very proud of you bro. welcome to the teaching world! love mike and laura
